Open Sea For Animals Eggs: Egg List, Locations, and Known Details

Eggs confirmed in Open Sea For Animals playthroughs: where each was found, the rarity labels shown on screen, observed hatch times, and what hatched — with unknown costs and odds flagged instead of guessed.

Quick answer

Fourteen eggs can be confirmed from playthroughs of the current Open Sea For Animals build. The list is observation-based — egg names as seen or heard on screen — not an official or complete catalogue. The table below shows each egg, its labels or variants, and where it was seen.

  • Eggs are the core collectible: split open the sea to reach them, run back to your base before the sea waves close on you, then place the eggs to hatch Animals that earn Cash, including offline.
  • Collected eggs wait in an egg menu with the eggs that are ready to claim before being placed and hatched.
  • Egg prices, exact hatch odds, and the official rarity tier ladder are not documented for the current game, so this reference sticks to what gameplay actually shows.

The names above are as seen or heard in playthroughs of the current game, so treat this as a confirmed-in-playthrough reference rather than an official catalogue. A few other egg names circulate — snail, gold and rainbow basic eggs, divine capybara, cosmic snake, secret ostrich, and magma dragon — but they are not established well enough to appear above as current entries.

Where eggs are found

The sea is split into zones, and each zone holds a different rarity of egg: the farther the zone, the rarer the egg. Deeper runs pass distinct areas with their own animals and eggs — a "gorilla area" is named in one playthrough, and the diamond ostrich and capybara eggs are grabbed in later areas than the first pickups.

Opening the sea farther takes both training strength (better dumbbells) and staff upgrades. As one playthrough puts it: "You need both; one alone won't push the sea much farther." The last zone is the Polar Bear zone at the far end of the sea, which needs enormous strength (around 100 quadrillion, or 100 QA) and holds the best eggs in the game. The creator who reached it at 100 QA strength called it the final zone: "We've officially beaten the game. And this is as far as you can go. Confirmed. No further." Access is strength-gated in practice too — earlier in that same run, stealing from the final area failed because the attempt was too slow.

Rarity labels, hatch times, and costs

These tier labels appear on screen during playthroughs:

Checklist

  • Uncommon

A frog egg is explicitly called uncommon: "since it's uncommon, I'm guessing is not going to be that good."

  • Epic

An "epic egg" is referenced in a deep zone.

  • Legendary

About a billion strength was described as "definitely enough to get past legendary rarity", tying rarity bands to strength progress.

  • Mythic, divine, secret

Heard as stacked labels on one ostrich egg: "Mythic divine secret ostrich egg."

  • Cosmic

Said of an animal hatched from a T-Rex egg that earned 7.5 million per second.

  • Special

"Our first special rarity" was said at the polar bear egg hatch, the game's endgame egg.

  • Rainbow and gold

A rainbow lava egg was seen, and a gold event made "everything's gold now".

These are labels observed on screen or in commentary — the official tier ladder and its ordering are not documented, so the list is not a top-to-bottom ranking.

Placed eggs hatch on a timer. Two observed points: a frog egg placed at the base was "done in 15 seconds", while the endgame polar bear egg carried a wait of about seven minutes ("Well, I guess we'll be back in 7 minutes then"). These are individual observations, not a per-egg hatch-time table.

No egg purchase price is established in the current game's documented playthroughs, so the table above lists locations and labels only.

Hatched animal outcomes and update notes

Tips

First (starter) egg

"Usually, it would be a chicken. Parrot."

Frog egg (uncommon)

The hatched animal earned about 4,000 per second.

Two tiger eggs

Hatched a rainbow tiger and a bull.

Two T-Rex eggs

Hatched a T-Rex and an unidentified animal at cosmic rarity, earning 7.5 million per second.

Snake egg

Hatched a snake earning about 100 million per second.

Endgame eggs

Hatched a gold saber-tooth, two "mouse eternal" animals, a gold bunny, and a hamster earning billions; the polar bear egg produced a polar bear at 172 billion per second.

These are single-run examples from individual playthroughs, not drop rates or average incomes — no hatch odds or guaranteed outcomes are documented for any egg.

The game listing notes "UPDATES EVERY SATURDAY!", and nothing currently ties specific eggs to specific updates, so recheck this list after an update lands. Open Sea For Animals is playable on Roblox.
